Swing into Spring with an amazing evening of Jazz on Monday, May 20 with the Masconomet Regional High School and Middle School Jazz ensembles. This annual evening of inspired performances by the Jazz Bands, Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Choir, has moved to the more intimate venue of the Masconomet cafeteria this year with a wonderful selection of music and desserts as sweet as the music.

From 7 to 9 p.m. the sweet sounds of jazz will fill the cafeteria as music fans of all ages enjoy a relaxed evening with delicious desserts. There will even be a fabulous ice cream sundae bar and raffles including one for an iPad. Tickets are $ 12 in advance or $15 at the door.

Formerly known as the Outback Jazz Festival, this revamped performance event is not only a celebration of music, it is an important fundraiser for the Masconomet Music Parents Association which annually awards over $12,000 in merit scholarships to under-classmen and seniors for music lessons, enrichment programs and post graduate studies.

The Masco Music Parents Monthly meeting will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013   @  7PM in the Masco Cafeteria.

We will be planning for the upcoming Sweet Swinging Jazz Festival, and for hospitality at the Middle School concerts.

The Masconomet Middle School will present "Grease", one of the most popular rock musicals of all time, on Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4 at 7 PM.
